HUNG CURD

Achieve new possibilities by simply hanging your curd overnight in a muslin cloth and removing its moisture. Make kebabs, flavoured sweet yogurts etc using Hung Curd. The method shown here even suits hot and humid climates and prevents the curd from turning sour.

Ingredients
  • Curd- 350 gms to make 150 gms of Hung Curd
Directions
  • Step 1 Set a strainer over a vessel.
  • Step 2 Now set a muslin cloth over strainer.
  • Step 3 Transfer the curd onto this cloth.
  • Step 4 Tie a knot and form a bag.
  • Step 5 Set the strainer with the curd in the refrigerator for 3-4 hrs (preferably overnight).
  • Step 6 Hung curd will then be ready.

HUNG CURD PHOTO RECIPE:

1. Set a strainer over a vessel.

5. Set the strainer with the curd in the refrigerator for 3-4 hrs (preferably overnight).
