Paneer Kebab | Garnish and Savour

Paneer Vrat Kebab Recipe Card

Soft dahi paneer kebabs to satiate your taste buds. A special preparation for Upwas/ Vrat.

Ingredients
  • Fresh coriander- 2-3 sprigs
  • Green chillies- 1-2 (depending on the heat)
  • Hung curd- 150 gms
  • Paneer/ Cottage cheese- 150 gms
  • Black pepper- 1/5th tsp
  • Rock salt- to taste
  • Cashew nuts- 8-10
  • Singhada (Water Caltrop) flour- 1 tbsp
  • Ghee/ clarified butter- 2tsp
Directions
  • Step 1 Finely chop some green chillies and fresh coriander.
  • Step 2 Take some hung curd in a bowl and add some grated cottage cheese/ paneer, black pepper, rock salt, chopped green chillies and coriander, roughly chopped cashew, singhada (water caltrop) flour and mix well to make the kebab mixture.
  • Step 3 Grease your palm with some ghee.
  • Step 4 Take small portion of kebab mixture in your hands and make flat round patties.
  • Step 5 Add 1 tsp ghee/ clarified butter to a hot pan and shallow fry the kebabs on low flame.
  • Step 6 Once golden, flip the kebabs and add another tsp of ghee/ clarified butter to shallow fry the other side.
  • Step 7 Serve hot with mint sauce/ chutney.

PANEER KEBAB PHOTO RECIPE:

1. Finely chop some green chillies and fresh coriander.

2. Take some hung curd in a bowl and add some grated cottage cheese/ paneer, black pepper, rock salt, chopped green chillies and coriander, roughly chopped cashew, singhada (water caltrop) flour and mix well to make the kebab mixture.

3. Grease your palm with some ghee.

4. Take small portion of kebab mixture in your hands and make flat round patties.

5. Add 1 tsp ghee/ clarified butter to a hot pan and shallow fry the kebabs on low flame.

6. Once golden, flip the kebabs and add another tsp of ghee/ clarified butter to shallow fry the other side.

7. Serve hot with mint sauce/ chutney.
